The Service

KeptMiles is a mobile application that helps users track business mileage and calculate HMRC mileage allowance claims. The app is provided by Keep Computing.

Plans

KeptMiles offers three ways to access your data:

• Free: Up to 20 journeys per month, 3 saved locations, core tracking and classification features. Journeys beyond 20 are recorded but locked.
• Premium Subscription: Unlimited journeys, unlimited saved locations, PDF/CSV export, cloud backup, charts, predictions, bulk classification, and theme customisation. Available as monthly or annual plans. Subscriptions unlock the current month and all future months while active.
• Monthly Unlock: A one-off purchase to permanently unlock a specific number of past months. Useful for accessing historical data for a tax return without subscribing. Unlocked months are kept permanently, even if you later subscribe and cancel.

Payments

Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through Google Play > Subscriptions.

Monthly unlock purchases are one-off payments processed through Google Play. Each purchase permanently unlocks the specified number of months. Unlocks are non-refundable once applied.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. If you have an issue with a charge, contact mark@keepcomputing.co.uk and I will help resolve it.

Your Data

You own your data. KeptMiles stores journey data locally on your device. I do not access, collect, or sell your personal data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Accuracy

KeptMiles calculates mileage claims based on HMRC's published Approved Mileage Allowance Payment rates. While I aim for accuracy, the app is a tool to assist record-keeping and is not a substitute for professional tax advice. You are responsible for ensuring your claims are correct.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use KeptMiles for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app.

Limitation of Liability

KeptMiles is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keep Computing is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including (but not limited to) inaccurate mileage calculations, data loss, or missed claims.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
